Sophie Lariviere is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in Montreal, Canada, on May 15, 1985, Sophie showed an early interest in music and began playing the flute at the age of eight. Her parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged her to pursue her passion for music, and she soon became a prodigious talent. Sophie's early years were spent studying music at the Conservatoire de musique de Montreal, where she received her first formal training in music. She quickly distinguished herself as a talented musician, winning several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Canadian Music Competition and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra Competition. After completing her studies at the Conservatoire, Sophie went on to study at the Juilliard School in New York City, where she received a Bachelor of Music degree.
