Los Músicos de Su Alteza is a Spanish classical music ensemble that specializes in the performance of Baroque music. The ensemble was founded in 1992 by Luis Antonio González, a Spanish conductor and musicologist, with the aim of reviving the music of the Spanish Baroque period. The ensemble's name, which translates to "The Musicians of His Highness," is a reference to the musicians who performed in the courts of Spanish monarchs during the Baroque era. The ensemble's repertoire includes works by Spanish composers such as Antonio de Cabezón, Francisco Correa de Arauxo, and Tomás Luis de Victoria, as well as works by other European composers of the Baroque period. The main members of Los Músicos de Su Alteza are Luis Antonio González, who serves as the ensemble's conductor and artistic director, and a group of musicians who specialize in the performance of Baroque music. The ensemble's members include instrumentalists who play period instruments such as the harpsichord, the viola da gamba, and the baroque guitar, as well as vocalists who specialize in the performance of early music.
