Ludwig Mittelhammer is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for himself in the world of opera. Born on May 22, 1993, in Munich, Germany, Mittelhammer grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a professional cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Mittelhammer showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of six. As he grew older, Mittelhammer's interest in music expanded, and he began to explore other instruments. He started playing the cello at the age of ten and quickly fell in love with the instrument. In 2017, Mittelhammer was awarded the prestigious DAAD scholarship, which allowed him to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. During his time in London, Mittelhammer had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned cellists in the world, including Steven Isserlis and Guy Johnston. He also performed in several concerts and recitals, which helped him gain valuable exposure and experience. After completing his studies in London, Mittelhammer returned to Germany and began to focus on his career as a professional cellist. In 2019, Mittelhammer made his debut as an opera singer, performing the role of Papageno in Mozart's "The Magic Flute" at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.
