Senka Brankovic is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 5, 1985, in Belgrade, Serbia, Senka showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Senka's musical journey began at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade, where she studied piano under the guidance of Professor Ljiljana Vukelja. She showed exceptional talent and dedication, and her hard work paid off when she won her first competition at the age of nine. This was just the beginning of her successful career in music. After completing her studies at the Music School "Mokranjac," Senka continued her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she studied piano with Professor Ninoslav Živković. She graduated with honors in 2008 and continued her studies at the same faculty, where she completed her master's degree in piano performance in 2010. During her studies, Senka participated in numerous competitions and won several awards. In 2003, she won the first prize at the International Piano Competition "Petar Konjović" in Belgrade. In 2005, she won the first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy. In 2007, she won the first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Marsala" in Italy. These awards helped to establish her reputation as a talented and accomplished pianist. Senka's talent and hard work have led to numerous performances in Serbia and abroad. She has performed in prestigious concert halls such as the Kolarac Hall in Belgrade, the Sava Center in Belgrade, the Philharmonic Hall in Novi Sad, the National Theater in Belgrade, and the Teatro Politeama in Palermo, Italy. She has also performed in Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and the United States. One of the highlights of Senka's career was her performance with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in 2009. She performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K. 488, under the baton of conductor Uroš Lajovic. The performance was highly acclaimed by the audience and critics alike, and it cemented Senka's reputation as one of the most talented pianists of her generation. Senka has also collaborated with other renowned musicians, including violinist Nemanja Radulović, cellist Maja Bogdanović, and soprano Ana Radovanović. Together, they have performed in numerous concerts and festivals, including the Ohrid Summer Festival in Macedonia, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in Croatia, and the BEMUS Festival in Belgrade. In addition to her performances, Senka is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught piano at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade and the Music School "Josip Slavenski" in Novi Sad. She is currently a professor of piano at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of musicians. Senka's talent and hard work have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. In 2011, she was awarded the "Mokranjac" Prize by the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade for her outstanding achievements in music.
