From a young age, Rainer showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Rainer's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Rainer had already won several local piano competitions and was considered a prodigy. In 1986, Rainer was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Prof. Klaus Hellwig. During his time at the conservatory, Rainer honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. After graduating from the conservatory in 1994, Rainer began his professional career as a concert pianist. He quickly gained recognition for his virtuosic performances and his ability to interpret complex musical compositions with ease. In 1996, Rainer won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. This was a major milestone in his career and helped him establish himself as one of the leading pianists of his generation. Over the years, Rainer has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. One of the highlights of Rainer's career was his performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic in 2005.
