Manu Delago is a renowned Austrian composer, percussionist, and hang player. He was born on July 27, 1984, in Innsbruck, Austria. Delago grew up in a musical family, and his father was a music teacher. He started playing the drums at the age of two and later learned to play the piano and the guitar. Delago was fascinated by the sound of the hang, a percussion instrument that resembles a steel drum, and started playing it in his early twenties. Delago studied music at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, and later at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England.
