Born in 1991 in Krakow, Poland, Martyna began playing the violin at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the Academy of Music in Krakow, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in violin performance. In 2010, she won first prize in the National Violin Competition in Poznan, Poland, and in 2012, she was awarded the prestigious Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship.
