Kathinka Pasveer is a renowned classical music artist known for her exceptional skills in playing the flute and her contributions to contemporary music. She played a crucial role in the development and performance of many of his works, including "Licht," "Klang," and "Oktophonie." Her work with Stockhausen earned her international recognition and established her as one of the leading contemporary music performers of her time. In addition to her work with contemporary music ensembles, Pasveer has also performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed at major music festivals, including the Salzburg Festival, the Holland Festival, and the Berliner Festspiele. In 1996, she received the Amsterdam Prize for the Arts, and in 2008, she was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
