The band's unique blend of pop, rock, and folk music quickly gained a following in Canada, and they released their first album, "Gordon," in 1992. The album was a huge success, selling over a million copies in Canada and earning the band a Juno Award for Best New Group. Barenaked Ladies continued to release successful albums throughout the 1990s, including "Maybe You Should Drive" (1994), "Born on a Pirate Ship" (1996), and "Stunt" (1998).
