Tadeu do Amaral was born on May 15, 1985, in São Paulo, Brazil. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Tadeu showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As he grew older, Tadeu's passion for music continued to grow, and he began studying classical piano at the São Paulo State School of Music. He quickly excelled in his studies and was soon performing in concerts and competitions throughout Brazil. In 2003, Tadeu was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. There, he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Emanuel Ax and continued to hone his skills as a classical pianist. Throughout his career, Tadeu has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Tadeu's most notable performances was his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2007. He performed a program of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven to critical acclaim, with The New York Times praising his "virtuosic technique and sensitive musicality." In addition to his performances, Tadeu has also been recognized for his contributions to the world of classical music. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians who show great potential for a successful career in classical music. Tadeu has also been a strong advocate for music education and has worked with organizations such as the Juilliard School's Music Advancement Program to provide opportunities for young musicians from underprivileged backgrounds. Despite his success, Tadeu remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to perform and record regularly, and his passion for music remains as strong as ever.
