Keri-Lynn Wilson is a renowned conductor in the world of classical music. She was born on December 14, 1967, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Her parents were both musicians, and her father was a conductor. Wilson grew up in a musical household and began playing the piano at a young age. She was also exposed to classical music from an early age, attending concerts and performances with her family. Wilson's passion for music continued to grow, and she went on to study at the University of Manitoba, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance. She then went on to study conducting at the University of Toronto, where she earned a Master of Music degree in conducting. After completing her studies, Wilson began her career as a conductor, working with various orchestras and opera companies around the world. In 2002, she was awarded the Jean-Marie Beaudet Award for Orchestral Conducting by the Canada Council for the Arts. She was also named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 by The Globe and Mail in 2003.
