After completing her studies at the Prague Conservatory, Gajdosova continued her education at the Academy of Music in Vienna. During her time in Vienna, she won several awards and prizes for her performances, including the prestigious Beethoven Prize. Gajdosova's career as a concert pianist began in the early 1950s. She made her debut performance in Prague in 1951, where she received critical acclaim for her performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. Her performance was described as "brilliant" and "virtuosic," and it marked the beginning of her successful career as a concert pianist. Over the years, Gajdosova performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna.
