From a young age, Siv showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. She later started playing the violin and the cello, and by the age of ten, she had already performed in several concerts. Siv's talent was recognized early on, and she was accepted into the prestigious Royal College of Music in Stockholm at the age of 16. She studied under the guidance of renowned cellist Mats Lidström and graduated with honors in 2006. During her time at the college, Siv also had the opportunity to perform in several concerts and recitals, which helped her gain valuable experience and exposure. After completing her studies, Siv began her professional career as a cellist. She quickly gained recognition for her exceptional talent and was invited to perform with several orchestras and ensembles across Europe. In 2008, she was appointed as the principal cellist of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, a position she held for five years. During her time with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Siv had the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Carnegie Hall in New York. She also collaborated with several renowned conductors and soloists, including Daniel Barenboim, Yo-Yo Ma, and Anne-Sophie Mutter.
