Miami Symphonic Strings is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2008 in Miami, Florida. The group was formed by a group of professional musicians who shared a passion for classical music and wanted to bring their talents to the local community. The ensemble is made up of a core group of musicians, including violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists. The group is led by its founder and artistic director, Dr. Alfred Gershfeld, who is a renowned violinist and conductor. Since its founding, Miami Symphonic Strings has become one of the most respected and sought-after classical music ensembles in the region. The group has performed at numerous prestigious venues, including the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. One of the highlights of Miami Symphonic Strings' career was its performance at the 2010 Miami International Piano Festival. The group was invited to perform alongside renowned pianist and conductor, Martha Argerich, in a concert that was hailed as one of the festival's most memorable performances. In addition to its live performances, Miami Symphonic Strings has also released several critically acclaimed recordings. The group's debut album, "Classical Masterpieces," was released in 2012 and features some of the most beloved works in the classical music repertoire.
