Goran Krivokapic is a renowned classical guitarist who has made a name for himself in the world of music. Born on May 24, 1979, in the city of Kotor, Montenegro, Krivokapic showed an early interest in music. He began playing the guitar at the age of six and quickly developed a passion for the instrument. Krivokapic's talent was evident from an early age, and he began performing in public at the age of eight. He went on to study at the Music Academy in Cetinje, Montenegro, where he received his Bachelor's degree in 2001. He then continued his studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, where he earned his Master's degree in 2003. In 2004, he won first prize at the International Guitar Competition in Havana, Cuba. He also won first prize at the International Guitar Competition in Velbert, Germany, in 2005. He has performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Wigmore Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, among others. He has also performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his performances, Krivokapic is also a respected teacher and has taught at the Music Academy in Cetinje, Montenegro, and the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. He has also given masterclasses around the world, including in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Krivokapic's recordings have received critical acclaim and have been praised for their technical skill and musicality. His debut album, "Bach: Complete Lute Suites," was released in 2006 and received rave reviews.
