Wendy Pedersen is a renowned jazz and blues vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist. She was born on August 23, 1965, in Rochester, New York, and grew up in a musical family. Her father was a jazz pianist, and her mother was a singer, so music was always a part of her life. She started singing at a young age and was influenced by jazz legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Billie Holiday. Pedersen's passion for music led her to attend the University of Miami's School of Music, where she studied jazz vocal performance.
