His father was a renowned cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Julio was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Julio's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his mother and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. By the age of ten, he was already performing in public, and his talent was quickly recognized by the music community. At the age of twelve, Julio was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. He moved to the United States with his family and began studying under the tutelage of some of the most renowned classical pianists in the world. He quickly established himself as a prodigious talent, and his performances were met with critical acclaim. Julio's breakthrough performance came at the age of sixteen when he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the New York Philharmonic. The performance was a resounding success, and Julio was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. He continued to perform with major orchestras around the world, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. In 2005, Julio released his debut album, which featured works by Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. The album was a commercial success and received critical acclaim. It was followed by several more albums, including a recording of Beethoven's complete piano sonatas, which was hailed as a landmark achievement. Julio's career continued to flourish, and he received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians.
