Hedayet Djeddikar was born on May 15, 1985, in Mumbai, India. He was born into a family of musicians, and his father was a renowned sitar player. From a young age, Hedayet was exposed to classical music and began learning the sitar under his father's guidance. Hedayet's talent for music was evident from a young age, and he quickly became a prodigy on the sitar. He began performing in public at the age of 10 and soon gained a reputation as a rising star in the world of classical music. In 2001, Hedayet won the prestigious All India Radio Music Competition, which helped to launch his career as a professional musician.
