Alexander Afanasyev was born on January 1, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his mother being a pianist and his father a cellist. From a young age, Afanasyev showed a natural talent for music and began studying the piano at the age of five. As a child, Afanasyev participated in numerous competitions and festivals, winning several awards for his performances.
