Eun Yee You is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1985, in Seoul, South Korea, Eun Yee You showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Eun Yee You's musical journey began at the Yewon School, a prestigious music school in Seoul, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Choong-Mo Kang. She later went on to study at the Seoul National University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. During her time at the university, Eun Yee You won several awards, including the Grand Prize at the Seoul National University Music Competition. After completing her Bachelor's degree, Eun Yee You moved to the United States to further her studies. She enrolled at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Wha Kyung Byun. She earned her Master's degree in Piano Performance from the conservatory and went on to pursue her Doctorate in Musical Arts at the University of Michigan. Eun Yee You's talent and hard work paid off when she won several prestigious awards and competitions during her time in the United States. She won the First Prize at the 2010 Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition and the Second Prize at the 2011 San Antonio International Piano Competition. She was also a finalist at the 2012 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Eun Yee You's talent and dedication to music have led her to perform in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. She has performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the Salle Cortot in Paris, and the Seoul Arts Center in South Korea, among others. She has also collaborated with renowned conductors and orchestras, including the Boston Pops Orchestra, the New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, and the Korean Symphony Orchestra. Eun Yee You's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance, musicality, and emotional depth.
