He was born on 14th June 1975 in Helsinki, Finland. From a young age, Pekka showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Pekka began his musical journey by learning to play the piano at the age of six. He showed remarkable talent and quickly progressed to more advanced pieces. At the age of ten, he started playing the cello and fell in love with the instrument. He continued to study both the piano and cello throughout his childhood and teenage years.
