Suzanne Costallos was born on May 15, 1985, in Athens, Greece. She was raised in a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Costallos showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Costallos received her formal music education at the Athens Conservatory, where she studied under the guidance of some of the most prominent piano teachers in Greece. She quickly gained recognition for her exceptional talent and was awarded numerous prizes and scholarships throughout her studies. In 2003, Costallos was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where she continued her studies under the tutelage of renowned pianist Emanuel Ax. During her time at Juilliard, Costallos honed her skills and developed a unique style that blended classical technique with a modern sensibility. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Costallos embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. She quickly gained a reputation as one of the most exciting young pianists of her generation, and her performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. One of the highlights of Costallos' career came in 2010, when she was invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her performance was met with critical acclaim, and she was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. In addition to her solo performances, Costallos has also collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
