After completing his studies, Eduardo began his professional career as a violinist, performing with various orchestras in Mexico and abroad. He quickly gained a reputation as a virtuoso performer, known for his technical skill and emotional depth. In 1975, Eduardo was invited to perform at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Russia. This was a significant moment in his career, as the competition was one of the most prestigious in the world, and winning it was considered the ultimate achievement for a classical musician. Eduardo performed brilliantly, earning high praise from the judges and the audience. Although he did not win the competition, he was awarded a special prize for his outstanding performance.
