Circolo Artistico Ensemble is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2005 in Rome, Italy. The ensemble is made up of a group of highly skilled musicians who are dedicated to performing classical music at the highest level. The ensemble has become known for its innovative programming and its ability to bring new life to classical music. The founding members of Circolo Artistico Ensemble were all graduates of the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. They were all passionate about classical music and wanted to create an ensemble that would allow them to explore their love of the genre. The founding members of the ensemble were violinist Marco Serino, violist Fabio Marano, cellist Francesco Storino, and pianist Alessandro Viale. From the beginning, the ensemble was committed to performing a wide range of classical music, from the Baroque era to contemporary works. They were also interested in exploring the connections between classical music and other art forms, such as literature and visual art. This commitment to innovation and exploration has been a hallmark of the ensemble's work throughout its history. One of the early highlights of Circolo Artistico Ensemble's career was its performance at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy in 2006. The festival is one of the most prestigious classical music festivals in Italy, and the ensemble's performance was well-received by both audiences and critics. This performance helped to establish the ensemble's reputation as one of the most exciting young classical music ensembles in Italy. Over the years, Circolo Artistico Ensemble has performed at many other prestigious venues and festivals around the world. Some of the highlights of the ensemble's career include performances at the Teatro Argentina in Rome, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. The ensemble has also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, the Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de Aguascalientes in Mexico, and the Festival Internacional de Música de Cadaqués in Spain. In addition to its performances, Circolo Artistico Ensemble has also been recognized for its recordings. The ensemble's recording of the complete chamber music of Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco was released in 2010 to critical acclaim. The recording was praised for its technical excellence and its ability to capture the spirit of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's music. Another highlight of Circolo Artistico Ensemble's career was its collaboration with Italian author Andrea Camilleri. Camilleri is best known for his Inspector Montalbano series of detective novels, but he is also a passionate lover of classical music. The ensemble worked with Camilleri to create a program that combined readings from his novels with performances of classical music. The program was a huge success and was performed at venues throughout Italy. Throughout its history, Circolo Artistico Ensemble has remained committed to its mission of exploring the connections between classical music and other art forms. The ensemble has collaborated with visual artists, poets, and writers to create innovative programs that bring new life to classical music. The ensemble has also been committed to promoting the work of contemporary composers, and has premiered many new works over the years. Today, Circolo Artistico Ensemble is recognized as one of the most exciting and innovative classical music ensembles in Italy.
