Giorgio Algorta was born on May 12, 1985, in Milan, Italy. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional classical musicians. His father was a renowned pianist, and his mother was a violinist. From a young age, Giorgio was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Giorgio's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed a passion for the instrument. By the age of ten, he had already won several local piano competitions and was performing in public regularly. In 1997, Giorgio was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan. He studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in Italy and quickly established himself as one of the top students in his class. During his time at the conservatory, he won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Premio Paganini. After graduating from the conservatory, Giorgio began performing professionally. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and passionate pianist, and his performances were praised for their technical skill and emotional depth. He performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Italy, including La Scala in Milan and the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples. In 2008, Giorgio was invited to perform at the International Piano Festival in Moscow. His performance was a huge success, and he was invited back to perform at the festival the following year. In 2010, he was invited to perform at the International Piano Festival in New York City, where he received a standing ovation for his performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14.
