Born in Toulouse, France in 1991, Carrère began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She studied with several renowned teachers in France and Germany, including Michel Béroff, Jean-François Heisser, and Lars Vogt, and went on to win numerous prizes in national and international competitions. Carrère's early career was marked by a series of impressive performances and awards. In 2007, she won first prize in the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Piano Competition, which led to a series of concerts in major European cities. The following year, she won first prize in the International Piano Competition of Lagny-sur-Marne, and in 2009, she was awarded the Prix d'Honneur at the International Piano Competition of Brest. These early successes helped to establish Carrère as a rising star in the classical music world. In 2010, Carrère was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hanover, Germany, where she studied with Lars Vogt. She also performed in major concert halls throughout Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Tonhalle Zurich. Carrère's international career took off in 2013, when she won first prize in the International Piano Competition of San Marino. She also began to receive critical acclaim for her recordings, including her debut album of works by Schumann, Liszt, and Brahms, which was released in 2014. In 2015, Carrère was invited to perform at the prestigious Verbier Festival in Switzerland, where she played in a chamber music concert with renowned violinist Joshua Bell and cellist Steven Isserlis. This performance was widely praised for its musical sensitivity and technical brilliance, and helped to further establish Carrère as one of the most promising young pianists of her generation. Since then, Carrère has continued to perform regularly in major concert halls throughout Europe and Asia, and has collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including cellist Gautier Capuçon and violinist Renaud Capuçon.
