Another notable work by Brittelle is his 2018 album, "Spiritual America," which was commissioned by the chamber orchestra, Alarm Will Sound. Brittelle's compositions often incorporate unconventional instrumentation and electronic elements, and he is known for his use of complex rhythms and harmonies. He has been praised for his ability to blend classical and popular music in a way that is both innovative and accessible. In addition to his work as a composer, Brittelle is also a teacher and mentor. He has taught music composition at the University of Michigan and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
