Yann Dubost is a renowned French double bassist and classical music artist. He was born on December 22, 1971, in Lyon, France. Dubost grew up in a family of musicians, and his father was a double bassist as well. He started playing the double bass at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Dubost studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he received his diploma in 1993.
