Orchestra Sinfonica Moldava is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2004 in the city of Chisinau, Moldova. The ensemble was established with the aim of promoting classical music in Moldova and to provide a platform for talented musicians to showcase their skills. The orchestra is made up of some of the most talented musicians in Moldova, many of whom have received training from some of the most prestigious music schools in Europe. The ensemble is led by its conductor and artistic director, Maestro Dumitru Goia, who is widely regarded as one of the most talented conductors in Moldova. Since its founding, Orchestra Sinfonica Moldava has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Moldova and has collaborated with some of the most renowned soloists and conductors in the world. The ensemble has also participated in numerous international music festivals and has received critical acclaim for its performances. One of the highlights of Orchestra Sinfonica Moldava's career was its performance at the International Festival of Classical Music in Moscow in 2008. The ensemble received a standing ovation from the audience and was praised by critics for its technical precision and emotional depth. In 2010, Orchestra Sinfonica Moldava was invited to perform at the International Festival of Classical Music in Vienna, Austria. The ensemble's performance was hailed as one of the highlights of the festival, and it received a standing ovation from the audience. In addition to its performances, Orchestra Sinfonica Moldava has also received numerous awards and accolades for its contributions to classical music. In 2012, the ensemble was awarded the "Best Classical Music Ensemble" award by the Moldovan Ministry of Culture, and in 2014, it was awarded the "Excellence in Music" award by the Moldovan National Philharmonic.
