Role:ConductorRobert Kabara was born on May 15, 1985, in Warsaw, Poland. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Kabara showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Kabara's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Frederic Chopin Music School in Warsaw. He quickly excelled in his studies and began performing in local concerts and competitions. At the age of 12, Kabara won first prize in the National Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Poland. In 2003, Kabara was accepted into the prestigious Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied under renowned pianist and professor Janusz Olejniczak. During his time at the university, Kabara continued to win numerous awards and competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Rome and the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. After graduating from the university with honors in 2008, Kabara began his professional career as a concert pianist. He quickly gained recognition for his virtuosic performances and was invited to perform at major concert halls and festivals around the world. One of Kabara's most notable performances was at the 2010 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, where he was awarded second prize. His performance of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor was praised for its technical brilliance and emotional depth. In 2012, Kabara was invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. His performance of Chopin's Ballade No. 1 in G minor received a standing ovation from the audience and was hailed as a "triumph of artistry." Kabara's repertoire includes works by Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, and Rachmaninoff, among others. He is known for his sensitive interpretations and technical mastery of the piano. In addition to his solo performances, Kabara has also collaborated with orchestras and chamber ensembles around the world. He has performed with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Poland, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, among others. Kabara has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including the Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2015.
