He continued his musical education at the Berlin University of the Arts, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned violinist, Professor Ulf Hoelscher. During his time at the university, Strunck participated in several competitions and won numerous awards. In 1995, he won first prize at the International Violin Competition in Hanover, Germany. This was a significant achievement for Strunck, as it helped him gain recognition in the music world. After completing his studies, Strunck began his professional career as a soloist and chamber musician.
