Sebastian Bohren is a Swiss classical violinist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and unique interpretations of classical repertoire. Born on October 23, 1987, in Lucerne, Switzerland, Bohren began playing the violin at the age of four and showed exceptional talent from an early age. Bohren's musical education began at the Lucerne Conservatory, where he studied with renowned violinist Igor Ozim. He later continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, where he studied with Rainer Schmidt, a member of the Hagen Quartet. During his time in Basel, Bohren also had the opportunity to work with other notable musicians, including violinist Midori and pianist András Schiff. Bohren's career as a professional musician began in 2006, when he won first prize at the Swiss Youth Music Competition.
