Audun Kayser is a Norwegian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on May 22, 1987, in Oslo, Norway, Kayser showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with renowned pianists in Norway. Kayser's musical education continued at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, where he studied under the guidance of professors such as Einar Steen-Nøkleberg and Håvard Gimse. During his time at the institute, Kayser won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Steinway Prize for Young Musicians in 2005. After completing his studies in Norway, Kayser continued his musical education abroad, studying with renowned pianists such as Boris Berman at the Yale School of Music in the United States and Pascal Devoyon at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany. Kayser's talent and dedication to his craft have led to numerous high-profile performances and collaborations with some of the world's most renowned orchestras and conductors. In 2010, he made his debut with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 under the baton of conductor Vasily Petrenko.
