He was the son of a musician, and his father recognized his son's musical talent at an early age. As a result, Isaac began his musical education at a young age, studying under his father and other local musicians. Isaac's musical abilities quickly became apparent, and he was soon recognized as a prodigy. He was able to play multiple instruments, including the violin, organ, and harpsichord, and he began composing his own music at a young age. His father recognized his son's potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. In 1670, Isaac moved to Vienna, where he continued his musical education under the tutelage of Johann Heinrich Schmelzer, a renowned composer and violinist. Schmelzer was impressed with Isaac's talent and took him under his wing, teaching him advanced composition techniques and helping him refine his skills as a performer. Isaac's time in Vienna was a period of significant growth for him as a musician. He was exposed to a wide range of musical styles and began incorporating elements of Italian and French music into his compositions. He also began to develop his own unique style, characterized by complex harmonies and intricate counterpoint. In 1675, Isaac returned to Kempten, where he was appointed as the court musician for the Prince-Abbot of Kempten. He composed a variety of works, including sonatas, concertos, and chamber music, and his music was well-received by audiences and critics alike. One of Isaac's most notable works is his Sonata a 5 in C Major, which was composed in 1680. This piece is a prime example of Isaac's unique style, featuring complex harmonies and intricate counterpoint. The piece is scored for five instruments, including two violins, two violas, and a basso continuo, and it showcases Isaac's skill as a composer and his ability to create music that is both technically challenging and emotionally expressive.
