Aija Zingite is a Latvian classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist and chamber musician. Born on May 5, 1985, in Riga, Latvia, Zingite showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with some of the best teachers in Latvia. In 2001, she won first prize in the Latvian National Piano Competition, and in 2003, she was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania. After completing her studies at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in Riga, Zingite continued her education at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, Germany. Throughout her career, Zingite has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, both in Latvia and abroad.
