Over the next few years, Sammut continued to write music for percussion ensembles, including his popular "Sugaria" and "Caméléon" pieces. He also began to experiment with different instruments, such as the vibraphone and the steel pan. In 2005, Sammut released his second album, "Rotation 2," which featured his compositions for marimba and vibraphone. The album showcased Sammut's versatility as a composer and helped solidify his reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting composers in the world of percussion. Sammut's music is known for its intricate rhythms, complex harmonies, and use of unconventional instruments. He draws inspiration from a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, rock, and classical music.
