She was born into a family of musicians, and her father was a conductor and her mother was a pianist. Ursuleasa began playing the piano at the age of five, and by the age of seven, she was already performing in public. Ursuleasa's talent was recognized early on, and she was accepted into the George Enescu Music High School in Bucharest at the age of 10. She continued her studies at the Vienna Conservatory, where she studied with the renowned pianist and teacher, Prof. Heinz Medjimorec. Ursuleasa also studied with other notable pianists, including Lazar Berman, Dmitri Bashkirov, and Murray Perahia. Ursuleasa's career as a pianist began to take off in the early 2000s, and she quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists of her generation. She won several international competitions, including the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in Switzerland in 1995, the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in the United States in 1998, and the International Piano Competition in Leeds, England, in 1997. Ursuleasa's performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. She was known for her ability to bring out the nuances and subtleties of the music she played, and her performances were often described as mesmerizing and captivating. Ursuleasa performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. She also performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna.
