Þorkell Jóelsson is a renowned classical music artist from Iceland. He was born on May 15, 1978, in Reykjavik, Iceland. From a young age, Jóelsson showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. He began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Jóelsson's parents enrolled him in music lessons, and he began studying under some of the best piano teachers in Iceland. He quickly progressed and began performing in public at the age of eight.
