Martin Weiser was born on May 15, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Weiser showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Weiser's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Vienna Conservatory of Music at the age of six. He studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in Austria and quickly became known for his technical proficiency and musicality. At the age of 12, Weiser made his debut performance at the Vienna State Opera, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor. The performance was a huge success, and Weiser was praised for his mature interpretation of the piece. His performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor was particularly praised, with the judges commending his technical skill and emotional depth. Following his success at the Leeds competition, Weiser's career continued to flourish.
