Tania de Jong is a renowned Australian soprano, social entrepreneur, and speaker. She was born on July 30, 1963, in Melbourne, Australia. Her parents were both Holocaust survivors who migrated to Australia after World War II. Tania grew up in a family that valued education, culture, and music. She studied music at the Victorian College of the Arts and the University of Melbourne, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree.
