Michail Angelov is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 5, 1985, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Michail showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Michail's musical journey began at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Stella Dimitrova. He later continued his studies at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During his studies, Michail participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the First Prize at the National Piano Competition "Svetoslav Obretenov" in 2002 and the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy in 2005. After completing his studies, Michail continued to hone his skills and expand his repertoire by attending masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Boris Berman, Peter Donohoe, and Jerome Rose. He also participated in various music festivals, including the International Summer Academy "Mozarteum" in Salzburg, Austria, and the International Piano Festival "PianoTexas" in Fort Worth, Texas. Michail's talent and dedication to music soon caught the attention of the international music community, and he began receiving invitations to perform at prestigious venues around the world. In 2008, he made his debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York City, where he performed a solo recital to critical acclaim. He has since performed at other renowned venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Royal Festival Hall in London, and the Salle Cortot in Paris.
