From a young age, Magda showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Magda's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking private lessons with renowned violin teachers in Hungary and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skills. At the age of 12, Magda won her first national competition and was invited to perform with the Hungarian National Symphony Orchestra. Magda continued to excel in her studies and was accepted into the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest at the age of 18. She studied under the guidance of Professor Istvan Parkanyi, one of Hungary's most respected violin teachers. During her time at the academy, Magda won several international competitions, including the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany, and the International Violin Competition in Cremona, Italy. After graduating from the academy with honors, Magda began performing professionally as a soloist and chamber musician. She quickly gained a reputation for her passionate and expressive playing style, and her performances were praised for their technical precision and emotional depth. Magda's career took off in 2010 when she won the prestigious International Violin Competition in Indianapolis, Indiana. The competition, which is held every four years, attracts some of the world's most talented young violinists. Magda's performance in the final round, where she played the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, was hailed as a triumph of artistry and technical skill. Following her victory in Indianapolis, Magda was invited to perform with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. She also began recording for major record labels, including Deutsche Grammophon and Sony Classical. Magda's repertoire is wide-ranging, encompassing works from the Baroque era to the present day. She is particularly known for her interpretations of the works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms. Her recordings of the complete Bach Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin have been widely praised for their clarity, sensitivity, and technical brilliance. In addition to her solo career, Magda is also an active chamber musician.
