Sally Dibblee is a renowned Canadian soprano who has made a name for herself in the world of classical music. Born on August 22, 1960, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Sally grew up in a musical family. Her father was a church organist, and her mother was a choir director. Sally's love for music was evident from a young age, and she began singing in her church choir at the age of six. Sally's musical education began at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, where she studied voice with Dr. Janice Jackson. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Toronto, where she studied with Mary Morrison. Sally continued her studies at the Banff Centre for the Arts, where she worked with renowned vocal coaches such as Martin Isepp and Elly Ameling. Sally's career as a professional singer began in 1985 when she joined the Canadian Opera Company's Ensemble Studio.
