Born on May 5, 1992, in Istanbul, Turkey, Kutlu showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, who were both music lovers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Kutlu's early musical education was under the guidance of her mother, who was a piano teacher. She received her first formal training at the Istanbul University State Conservatory, where she studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue Ayşegül Sarıca. Kutlu's talent was evident from the beginning, and she quickly became one of the most promising young pianists in Turkey. In 2010, Kutlu won first prize in the Istanbul International Piano Competition, which marked the beginning of her international career. She went on to win several other prestigious competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Rome, the International Piano Competition in Valencia, and the International Piano Competition in San Marino. Kutlu's talent and hard work paid off when she was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. There, she studied with renowned pianists such as Christopher Elton and Joanna MacGregor, and honed her skills as a performer and musician. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honours in 2015, and went on to complete her Master of Music degree with Distinction in 2017. Kutlu's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. The concert was sold out, and Kutlu received a standing ovation for her performance of works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt. The Guardian praised her performance, saying that "Kutlu's playing was technically flawless, but it was her musicality that really shone through. She has a rare ability to connect with the audience and convey the emotional depth of the music." Kutlu has also been recognized for her recordings, which have received critical acclaim.
