However, he is able to prove his innocence and is reinstated as Emperor. Domizia and Farnace are punished for their treachery, and Crispo is reunited with Lavinia. The music of 'Crispo' is typical of the Baroque era, with elaborate vocal lines and intricate instrumental accompaniment.
