Born in 1989 in Rennes, France, Bournisien began playing the harp at the age of six. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned harpists in France and abroad. Bournisien's early musical education was focused on classical music, and she quickly developed a deep appreciation for the works of composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Debussy. She also began to explore other genres of music, including jazz and world music, which would later influence her own compositions and performances.
