Jacques Abram was born on May 15, 1985, in Paris, France. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional classical musicians. His father was a cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Jacques was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Jacques showed a natural talent for music, and his parents recognized his potential early on. They encouraged him to pursue his passion for music and provided him with the best possible training. Jacques began taking piano lessons with his mother, and he quickly progressed to more advanced levels. At the age of ten, Jacques gave his first public performance at a local music festival. He played a Mozart piano sonata, and his performance was met with enthusiastic applause. This experience inspired Jacques to pursue a career in music, and he began to take his studies more seriously. Jacques continued to excel in his musical studies, and he was accepted into the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris at the age of sixteen. He studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in France, including Pascal Devoyon and Brigitte Engerer. Jacques also had the opportunity to perform in masterclasses with world-famous pianists such as Martha Argerich and Lang Lang. During his time at the Conservatoire, Jacques won several awards and competitions. In 2004, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Lyon, France. He also won the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship in 2005, which allowed him to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. After completing his studies at the Conservatoire, Jacques began to establish himself as a professional pianist. He performed in concerts throughout Europe and Asia, and he quickly gained a reputation as a talented and dynamic performer. One of Jacques' most memorable performances was at the 2008 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. He performed Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, and his performance was met with a standing ovation. Jacques was awarded third prize in the competition, and his performance was praised by the judges for its technical brilliance and emotional depth. In 2010, Jacques was invited to perform at the prestigious Verbier Festival in Switzerland. He performed in a chamber music concert with renowned violinist Maxim Vengerov, and his performance was hailed as one of the highlights of the festival. Jacques continued to perform in concerts and recitals throughout the world, and he also began to record his music. His first album, "Chopin: The Complete Nocturnes," was released in 2012 to critical acclaim. The album showcased Jacques' virtuosic playing and his deep understanding of Chopin's music. In 2014, Jacques was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York City. He performed a solo recital that included works by Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy. The concert was sold out, and Jacques received a standing ovation from the audience. Jacques' career continued to flourish, and he was invited to perform with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Simon Rattle, and Valery Gergiev. In 2018, Jacques was awarded the prestigious International Classical Music Award for his recording of Chopin's Piano Concertos Nos.
