The Chung Trio is a classical music ensemble consisting of three siblings: violinist Sarah Chung, pianist Esther Chung, and cellist Julia Chung. The trio was founded in 1995 and has since become one of the most renowned chamber music groups in the world. Sarah, Esther, and Julia were born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and began their musical training at a young age. Their parents, both professional musicians, recognized their children's talent and encouraged them to pursue music as a career. The siblings studied at the Juilliard School in New York City, where they honed their skills and developed a deep love for chamber music. In 1995, the Chung Trio was formed, and they quickly gained recognition for their exceptional musicianship and unique sound.
