He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional musicians who played in the Paris Opera Orchestra. From a young age, Constantin showed a keen interest in music, and he began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Constantin was a prodigious talent, and he quickly developed a reputation as one of the most promising young musicians in France.
