Clements excelled in his studies and graduated with honors in 1972. After completing his studies, Clements began his professional career as a pianist. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent and was invited to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in the world. In 1974, he made his debut at Carnegie Hall, which was a significant milestone in his career. Over the years, Clements continued to perform at various venues across the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He also collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Clements was known for his exceptional technique and his ability to bring out the emotions in the music he played. He was particularly renowned for his performances of the works of Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin. His performances were always well-received, and he received numerous accolades throughout his career. In 1982, Clements was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Prize, which is considered one of the most significant awards in classical music.
